Love Trails Croatia is a five-day experience packed with trail running and hiking experiences (guided and self-guided), group wild swims, off-grid open-air parties, live music and DJs, and creative wellness sessions. Each day features curated outdoor adventures, from mountain traverses to coastal trails, followed by unforgettable beach, forest or boat parties. It’s a fusion of movement, music, and community, all set against the stunning backdrop of the Adriatic.
While both events share the same spirit, Love Trails Croatia takes the experience to a whole new setting—the sun-drenched Mediterranean coastline. Here, you’ll explore the island of Krk through epic trail runs, boat parties, and intimate beach gatherings, all with a late-summer, island-vibe twist.
If you want to take part in the running & hiking experiences, then some experience in trail running or hiking is essential.
The terrain around Baška is diverse, featuring rocky paths, forest trails, and coastal routes. You should be prepared for varying elevations and technical sections. Whilst some of the trails are compact and runnable, the area includes some sections of technical trails, with steep ascents and descents and at times will involve a lot of hiking.
Some of the longer routes cross large expanses of uneven, technical, and rough terrain that do not follow worn paths or trails which you may be used to running in the UK, Alps, or at other trail running events.
Nope! Uniquely, Love Trails Croatia places equal weighting on trail running & hiking experiences. So whether you run, or prefer to hike - this event (and everything included across the entire week) has been programmed with you in mind.
On Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday, there will be a curated series of running experiences and scenic hikes. On Friday you’ll have the option to tackle an exhilarating 16km trail race, winding through the coastal scenery. For the rest of the week, you can expect energising movement sessions, beachside parties, and epic activities sprinkled throughout
We’d recommend wearing & carrying specific items during the running & hiking experiences for safety reasons, including:
Suitable trail-running footwear
Waterproof jacket with hood
Spare long sleeves & leggings
Whistle
First aid kit
Head torch
Mobile phone
Sufficient water & nutrition
Map of the area
A full detailed kit list will be issued pre-event.
